Biografie : Insatia

Insatia couldn't have began at a better time, than in the rebirth of Spring in 2008, in Phoenix, Arizona, USA, when Jon (rhythm guitar) and DUCK (lead guitar) decided to start a new project after the recent collapse of their prior band Atomic Revolution. Jon and DUCK were ready to create something fresh and new, both from the mistakes of the past and the hopes of the future. They were dedicated and ready to write all new material and to find hard-working dedicated members under a new image, and a new name - Insatia.

It wasn't long before Brenton (drums) was plucked from the heavens in Autumn of 2008, and the rhythm section was born. Brenton, Jon and DUCK immediately set out to start jamming and testing the waters to see if they were a match made for the big time. After a few months of progressive work on what would become the first four song demo from Insatia, Jon, DUCK and Brenton all knew that the fire they were creating in their hands contained enough pain and sadness to conquer the mortal world.

The only logical next step was to find a singer who could handle what Insatia had to offer - dark, somber, melodic, yet progressive gothic metal. It wasn't long after they set out to find a singer in the darkness of Winter in 2009, when Karri set up her first audition. The vibe and energy were in the room the minute she stepped in; Jon, Brenton and DUCK knew she was the one. Her powerful voices, accompanied by unforgettable melodies were the perfect sonic match. Work began immediately, writing lyrics, vocal melodies and recording the vocals, further bringing the four song demo, Left Behind (EP), to life.

Last, but not least, was the missing link to completing the line-up for Insatia, as well as the rhythm section. Conrad (bass) came into the action just in time. Karri had just finished recording all the vocals for the demo, Left Behind (EP), and all that needed to be written and recorded were the bass lines. Conrad stepped up to the plate and quickly unleashed his brutal bass riffs into the writing and recording process, thus completing Insatia's four song demo, Left Behind (EP).

What next ?
Conquering the mortal world and launching Insatia into the somber realm of immortality !
