"In Heaven" is a project I created, back in early 2003 in order to release a demo with a band we were jamming and played live together. Many difficulties came up so I decided to go on with Elvira Mitraka and Babis Anogeianakis to record a demo with the aid of Mihalis Rinakakis.

We've recorded our first demo called "…With You" (November 2003). This is a two-track work that we are very proud of, but we can't say the same for the audio quality!

In the middle of 2004 the idea of "Darchangel" showed up! (Darchangel = dark angel/archangel). Eleven tracks composed by the band and were recorded into the "Dark Room" studio that we've set up in our base at Heraklion. Mihalis Rinakakis did all the mixing and Sakis mastered our work, plus all artwork was made by Elias Kontogiannis. The music of this release is based on atmospheric metal with heavy guitars and dark lyrics.

Burning Star Records showed up so our debut album hit the stores the 15th of September 2005.

During the summer of 2005, we were looking for some more members to complete the line up, Tasos Hronis on the bass-guitar, Manos Vasilakis on the keyboards and Minas Vasilakis on the drums (who left late 2005) were the rest of "In Heaven".

Early in 2006 I faced many problems (both personal and professional) with our singer so I had to get her out of the band. Eventually after the summer was gone and we didn't do much as a band, we finally found a new singer in the face of Mina Giannopoulou, where once again we couldn't do much due to various problems (mainly dinstance).

During the summer of 2006 I've composed our second album and we begun recordings of it in our own studio. Once again recordings paused until we'll figure out what to do with the vocals. In the mean time the whole album is ready and we are looking for a brand new singer to go on.
