Swedish melodic death,thrash metal, a project of guitarists and composers Marcelo Salazar. Marcelo has been playing in various bands with different line-ups and projects, this being the most recent one is a bit different from the older stuff that were played and recorded .

The first demo from the band came in 2005 and was simply called "Demo 2005", the
Line-up was Tore Öyen(clean vocals, Guitars ex member),Alvaro Lillo (Growl), Juan Araya (Drums) and Marcelo Salazar(guitars), all being session members. The music is a diverse mix of the whole metal genre, a slight change of music style coming from the roots of the 80s to 90s with 2000s thrash and death metal scene, but the influences from the past and modern melodies mixture is now a main part of Marcelo´s project. Hard, heavy thrash riffs with melodic vocals and death defying growls mixed with eerie ambience of synthesizers and samples.

In the year 2009 and after a long break for personal reasons, Marcelo decided to take back the line-up of Hostile Reaction with new material, this time more powerful. This new found energy materialized in the demo which features the most mature and focused material from Hostile Reaction. A touch of speed metal, Death melodic metal and thrash metal, the realize of the new demo under the name "Within the wrath" , 3 tracks with their own power "perish in flames", "Delusive Reality" and "Dust Of war", with lyrics of potential anger, frustration and the ultimate release, digging deep in the blackness within us all, war, addiction, self exploration, reflecting modern day and own experiences.

The demos gained positive reviews everywhere it was sent and it was even considered the demo of the month by Sweden´s Close-up Magazine, Myspace band of the week , Sweden Rock and Black Shadow Mag.
