The one man band Hektor-Rex has been formed in Putten in March 2010. His musical interest started as a kid. In 1994 he listened to bands like Supertramp but shortly he listened to bands like Metallica. As years went past Hektor-Rex wanted to hear more "extreme" music and so he started to listen to Marilyn Manson and Cradle Of Filth. Then he got a little bored of that and wanted some more "extreme" material to satisfy his need. In 2004 Hektor-Rex did get in contact from a girl in Norway and she gave him some tips to find "extreme" music. He was very pleased with the music, was glad that it was most of all f*ck*d up and never got bored of it. Hektor-Rex started playing long before, in 2005, the band was created with a great interest in Black Metal. In 2009 he wanted to make his own music but he had only a cheap Fender guitar. After a while he bought an Ibanez with 24 frets and active pick-ups. Hektor-Rex was ready after he got used to the handling of the guitar. In 2010 he wanted to record his music but not in a True Black Metal genre. What Hektor-Rex wanted was hardcore beats, metal guitar and dark lyrics. And so Hektor-Rex was created.
