This one-man prodject was founded in early 2008 under the name Skogsmyr by Farmann. Skogsmyr changed the name sooner to Haugfolk. Haugfolk is a folkloric metalband and plays about local history from Agdenes area. Haugfolk is a Norwegian word for underworld people like trolls and other creatures from Norwegian fairytales. The music Haugfolk plays is metal mixed with folktones from Norway. Farmann has also involved acoustic guitars and synthsound to get more mysticism in the music.
