Biografie : Finity

Everything started on October 2008 when Hassen and Helmi decided to form a rock band chasing their small childhood dream of being a drummer and a bass player in the same band. So they called Donia for vocals and Ahmad ( Helmi’s brother ) for keyboards and two guitarists Semi and Mba. This line up covered the coolest songs of Anathema, Lacuna Coil, Evanescence, Radiohead, among others.. and rocked the stage in several concerts around Tunisa and live radio shows. On January 2010, Donia left the band and that started a long struggle to find a new vocalist. It was a surprise when Rahma came in and fueled the band with her energy and dynamic personality inspiring us to push it further into a heavier sound. then with Hend -the first soprano vocalist around the state- a more gothic and symphonic sound. For some reasons, Hassen was replaced by Amin -the loudest metal drummer around. Unfortunately, things went wrong and the band almost split up when they started to look desperately for a new lead vocal… And only then came in the idea of writing their own music instead of sitting back and wining towards the mediocrity of the local musical and cultural environment. Just after the first edition of the MUSIC BLAST FESTIVAL on April 2010, created and managed by Helmi and Amin, Finity welcomed Khawla for clean Jazzy/Soprano/Roots vocals and then Badr (the first Sfaxian guy to scream out a bunch of suckers in a Mic on stage) for screams and growls. Silent Symphony was born from a beautiful passion story for music between Houyem, Donia, Helmi and Montassar (who recorded for us a kicking ass guitar solo thank you Montassar) and all the Finity family... All produced and inspired in and from Sfax. Born from a ZERO musical background Finity is trying to bring new sound mixing straight Metal core elements with Goth/Symphonic Metal and Modern British Rock. “When Every Thing Begins“ is a two tracks self-produced Demo..
