The band DREADFUL MINDS started back in 1992. At this time they met up to some first sessions. Soon afterwards some self-written songs and the first gig came up in 1993. 1995 was the year of the "Caught In Illusion" demo tape, which even sold a few hundred copies.
During the next few years and a couple of gigs later there were enough songs ready to be recorded on a demo CD. "Last Light" contrary to the demo tape already showed up to be more influenced by Melodic Metal and was recorded in 1997 at Commusication Studio, Germany. It was given to several magazines and agencies and received a more than well response. European wide sales and supporting shows for HATE SQUAD and MOLLY HATCHET followed. They were the confirmation to keep heading into that musical direction.

In 2000 the line up was renewed and some members were replaced. This finally resulted in the unique Melodic Metal-Style which represents their music. Energized and most ambitious new songs came up and some old got changed over. During summer 2002 the Maxi-CD "Lost My Heart" was recorded. You can check out the new impulsiveness and dedication of the whole band on it. Their big live potential - once again - was proved in doing a support show for IN EXTREMO in august 2002.
