Biografie : Devil To Pay

Devil to Pay began in early 2002 and rose quickly to the top of the Indianapolis heavy rock scene. At the conclusion of the 2003 Battle of the Bands, the band had 1st place wrapped up and a $10,000 grand prize in their pockets.

The band spent the majority of 2004 supporting their debut cd, "Thirty Pieces Of Silver," which was released locally by Benchmark Records. The album garnered plenty of praise from the heavy rock underground, and lodged itself on FMQB's metal radio chart for over 3 months. The band toured regionally and nationally, as far west as Arizona, and as far east as Maine. On August 10th "Thirty Pieces Of Silver" finally hit stores all over the U.S. via a Benchmark/Emergent Music/RED partnership.

Joined by guitarist Bob Bridges in November of 2004, Devil to Pay went into writing mode through the spring of 2005 and recorded the sophomore effort, "Cash is King" in late summer at Azmyth Studios. Over 70 minutes of bone crunching riffs and attitude are set to be unleashed with the new album, and hefty doses of regional and national touring are sure to put some miles on the DTP van through 2006.
