Biografie : Demonium (AUS)
Formed in 2002 by drummer James Sheean. Demonium went through several line-up changes between 2002 - 2005 before getting the steady line up of today. The bands original sound was best described as old school thrash/death metal as heard on the Death Defying Demo, which was released in 2004. Just over a month later the band was hit hard with the sudden death of the vocalist at the time by the name of Nick Walker.
The band would take a break and find a new vocalist and continue on for another year playing their current songs at the time until half the band decided to leave in early 2005.
After Demonium gained a steady line-up around the time of '05/'06. The band went on a writing rampage and didn't gig for over 2 years. By mid 2007 Demonium were back in the gigging scene fronted by vocalist The Teeth Subjector adding more diversity, theatrics and different ideas to the band. Groove, odd timings, samples and a much tighter modern sound were just some of the new things that were brought to the band with the new line-up.
Recently Demonium have just released a new sampler disc by the name of Horrid Engorgement. A few tracks can be heard on the Demonium MySpace Page.
The band will be playing plenty of shows this year so hope to see you at them.
