Biografie : David Carl Band

David Carl made his public debut at age 9, when he began performing in a duo with his father at a regional bluegrass festival. David started his career as a drummer, switched to guitar later and at the age of 16 he was playing in a top Chicago-area nightclub rock act. Carl started writing his own songs at a very early age. Frank Pappalarado came across some of the material and brought David and his band to the Legacy studios. Those studios belong to Jim Peterik, who wrote the million selling Eye Of The Tiger and many other hit songs for his band "Survivor" David and Jim were very impressed with each other and started to write songs together. The result were great songs like "Innocent Kiss", "For Jackie", the very Survivor-ish sounding ballad "Arms Of Love" and Trapped, which all can be found on the David Carl Band debut "Cant Slow Down".
