I've been actively writing, recording and performing since 1989 and despite the fact that I've pretty much been working in the same day job for the entire duration of my quasi musical career I've still managed to be a part of some reasonably OK Australian bands (Christbait, Dern Rutlidge and Budd etc).
When I am not making beer out in my beloved garage I've been known to involve myself with some other bands/projects such as Sealfinger, Youngbreeder as well as being a solo artist hence this personalised domain. I'm not what you would call a popular artist, financially successful, critically acclaimed or even very good which some of my early day peers have managed to achieve and continue to maintain to this very day.

I remain largely obscure and I figure my output is pretty hit n miss (more miss) and can vary in style and sound which kinda makes it hard for listeners of one particular release to digest any of my other releases. I guess I'm hard to pin down which could possibly explain why I have pretty much remained under the radar....realistically it could also be that I'm actually pretty shite and just can't take the hint!? It hasn't all been bad though... I've managed to play some festivals, toured domestically and internationally to a limited degree, met with and shared the stage with some generally nice people and artists over the years.

If I could say anything about my relationship with my music and songwriting is that I liken it to a heavy drinker who simply can't put the bottle down.

I'm currently releasing the new budd CD - Jawa a new solo CD - Seven Songs in Sept 2010 as well as continuing with work on the Christbait collection/box set CD thingy.
