Biografie : Bugs B Gone

The summer of 1990,in the little sleepy town Stavern (Norway), Lars, Morten, Jarle and Thorbjørn started BUGS B GONE. With all kinds of problems, things didn't really happen until the band was infected by vocalist/bassist Sveinung in '94. He had already been playing in the local punk-band "Weeds" for eight years. In 1996 BUGS B GONE released the CD "Act Of Rage" which was well recieved by the metal-musicpress. "Terrorizer Magazine" awarded the CD with 9/10 and the Argentinian magazine "Madhouse" gave it a respectable 5/6. In this periode Andreas Kisser from Sepultura and Billy Graziadei from Biohazard, were seen on their MTV's festival reports, wearing BUGS B GONE t-shirts. Tom Brede from the local band "BodyHammer", became the new drummer in 1997. At this stage, the band started a more serious profile with more concerts. Close to the millennium they supported Machine Head at Rockefeller in Oslo. The live-reviews were extremely positive, and Anders Oddsberg from "Scream Magazine" used words as "convincing" and "...a band with class". BUGS B GONE performs hard hitting, metal/hardcore that will kick your face in!
