Born in 1993, Blut Aus Nord starts by being called Vlad. This French formation is at her beginnings a 'one-man-band', it was only made up of Vindsval.
Full with mysteries, ROUND OF APPLAUSE is a group with individualistic philosophy bringing much to the Black Metal scene. The group refuses to make concerts and does not publish any photograph of him.
"When one claims to be a true group of black metal and to hate humanity, the concerts are almost impossible. There is such a paradox between the groups made up on the photographs, which pose with malicious airs and weapons of war, and their attitude in concert where they stuff the mouth with bad beer... For me, the black metal it is not that. It is not either to propagate ideas of extreme-right-hand side or to exploit primary and orthodoxe satanic stereotypes."
With unhealthy and chaotic compositions, Vlad publishes two demos since 1994:
"In The Mist" and "Yggdrasil".
The next year, 1995, Vlad becomes Blut Aus Nord and records its first album "Ultima Thulée".
The following year, 1996, "Memoria Vetusta I - Fathers Of The Icy Age" went out, the second opus of the formation.
2001 will have to be waited until to re-examine to appear Northern Blut Aus. It is indeed this year that the album "The Mystical Beast of Rebellion" is published. Follows the album "The Work Which Transforms God" in 2003 then "Decorporation", a EP Split with Reverence. A new EP named "Thematic Emanation Of Archetypal Multiplicity" leaves in 2005.
