Officially Created In June 6, 2006 (Though Many Tracks From “Dødsferd” Were In The Process Since 2004 - 2005) In Torrance California. The Name Black Plague Struck Nino Because Of The Real Life Black Death That Impacted Europe In The Mid 14th Century And The Destruction It Swept.

Black Plague Started As An Experimental, Symphonic Black Metal Band With Its First Demo Release “Dødsferd” Black Plague (USA), On Halloween 2006. It Has Become A Cult Classic With Its Lo-Fi Necro Melodies That Is Now Commonly Available To The Fans.

The Sequel “Chapter Two : Damnation” Was A Total Failure That Was Released In Late 2006, Early 2007. It Was Released Very Small Quantities, Very Rare But Not Worth Getting.

The Third Demo “Infest” Released Early 2007 Provided A Faster New Sound, With A Cleaner Sound Quality. It Is Yet Another Rare Release, Though The Single “Damnation” Is Currently Leaked Over The Net.
The Forth Demo “Infernuim Diaboli Vampir” Went Back To The Traditional Sound Black Plague Started Off With. Holding Some Of The Best Keyboard Work In Black Plague. “I.D.V” Kept The Same Concept Of “Infest” Holding A DarkerBlack Plague (USA), Gothic Sound.
In Mid 2007, The Single “God's Peace No More” Was Released, Possessing A Faster Sound Than “Infest”. Clearly This Was Not NSBM, Though It Was Inspired By World War II. More Tracks Were Added Later And It Was Turned Into Small EP Which Can Be Found. After “G.P.H.N.M”, Black Plague Was Put On Hold After Nino Worked With The Band Black Metal Band Mortuary.
The Next EP, “Grimfrost” Was A Complete Turning Point For Black Plague. It Threw Away The Formula's Of The “Old” Black Plague And Re-Started From Zero. The Vocal's And Music Were Going Towards A Traditional Black Metal Direction. Once Again Black Plague Was Put On Hold So Nino Could Work With Vargxin In The Studio, To Form Moonknight.
The Next Single “Stormcrow Of Sucide” Released In Late September 2007. It Was A New Direction For Black Plague, Heading In The DSBM Category. Truly A Unique, One And Only Track That Fans Consider To Be One Of Black Plague's Best Songs.
The Next Small Demo, “Satanas Occultus Nokturnum” Released October 31, 2007 Held The Traditional Lo-Fi Black Metal Sound And Was Based On The Occult And Florished Traditional Satanic Themes.

Black Plague Kicked Off 2008 With “Legacy Of Evil” A Collection Of Old And New Black Plague Songs That Were Never Released. This Album Holds An Amazing 23 Tracks And Is Over 2 Hours Long With The Most Amazing Keyboard / Orchestral Work To Date.
Mid 2008, The Full-Length Album “Lost Touch With Inner Reality” Was Released. A Sequel To The 2007 Single “Stormcrow Of Sucide”, Nino Headed In The Same DSBM Direction. Along With Its Double Sequel Full-Length Album “Of Life And Death…”. The Name Came From The Track “The Hierarchy Of Life And Death” Of Its Previous Album. Black Plague Was Yet Again Put On Hold So Nino Could Record A New 2008 Single With Moonknight, “Warmageddon” And Vargxin's DSBM Side Project : Thulcandra.
The Next Full-Length Album “In Nocturnal Hellfire” Was Released (06/06/2008) In Dedication To The Origin's Of Black Plague. Leaving Black Plague's Musical Past A Far Cry Of Its Darker Hateful Future. Inspired By Pure Traditional 90's Second Wave Black Metal And The Destruction/Pre-Apocalyptic/Sacrilegious Consequences Of The Mid 14th Century Black Plague Epidemic, In Comparison Of The Present Modern Day World.
In October 31, 2008 Torrance California's Black Plague And Carlsbad California's Hadoth Teamed Up To Release The Split “When The Earth Stands Still…” With An Assault Of Pure Black Metal. Both Bands Providing Amazing Covers Of Endless Dismal Moan (Black Plague) And Burzum (Hadoth). Both Nino (Black Plague) And Mørke (Hadoth) Bring Their Skills Up Front On This Split.

Today, Nino Is Planning And Working On New Material For 2009. What Lies Ahead For Black Plague Is All Brutally Calculated Within Nino's Mind. Black Plague Is One And Only And Does Not Follow Any Trends Of Any Kind. For Black Plague is Nino, Nino Is Black Plague.
