Biografie : Assalt 43

Formed as Vizio 69 between the end of 2004 and dawn of 2005 in Esplugues de Llobregat, Barcelona. The original members were Josep, Daniel, Laura, Albert and Alex. Unfortunately, few months later the lead guitarist Alex left the band. Immediately was replaced by Javier, taking the composition role and closing the original line-up. Before record any demo they changed their name to Assalt 43. Although the former and present band members are and always have been against any form of fascism, at the same time they never stood for any communism ideologies, maybe as the name could suggest.

The first self-produced demo (Assalt 43) was released in 2005, by the way the band hadn't any expectation or hope to gain popularity or good receptions with it cause the demo was recorded in really pernicious conditions due to low budget. However, after a small release in the music shops and available on the Internet, that 7-track demo was the beginning of a non-stop show list in Catalunya, their homeland.

That small success encouraged the band to follow their path between the street-punk and the melodic hardcore style. Later, near summer 2006, the band entered Sukha Studios to record their first full-length album: Nuestro Camino (Our Way). Immediately, was sent to record labels around the Spanish state; few days later Guns of Brixton, a subsidiary of the English label Brixton Records, signed with Assalt 43. Nuestro Camino was officially released January 2007.

This album offers the band touring with bands like Sham 69, Azzione Diretta and Kaos Urbano, focusing the style more on hardcore with some metal riffs.

One year later, the band started changing his originally sound, improvising new tunes and different music styles as metal, melodic hardcore and thrash metal. A non-edited single was launched on MySpace and the hole Internet, with two new tracks, trying to breed different composition styles. Unfortunately, the lead singer Laura Portero and the rhythm guitar Daniel Aguado were expelled due to personal reasons by the rest of the line-up, and replaced by Sergio Hernandez taking the role of lead vocals, and Aleix Costa, a band close friend, taking place on rhythm guitars and backing vocals from now on.

On April 2009, the band comes back with a 3-track EP called "Hellcore" recorded on February 2009 at the Barcelona Atlantis Studios, as a previous listening to his next full-length album, which title has not been revealed by the moment
