The Story...
Angel Smile was born in Geneva (Switzerland) in 1995, by the meeting of David Perrelet and Emanuel Clivaz. The first compositions of the band were recorded in the backroom of "Live Music Shop", a music instruments business David was owning.

The original influences of the friends was a crossover between progressive rock (Marillion, IQ, Yes) and more powerful technical rock/metal (Dream Theater, Metallica, Queensryche).

After some months, Man and Dave decided to find other musicians in order to build a band. Depending on the other musicians joining, the musical style slightly changed and was upgraded with other flavours, like jazz, gothic music, neo-metal...but always keeping its original boostative and melodic touch.

For more than 7 years the band evoluted as a live rock band, giving really amazing performances due to their great enthousiasm. The choice of the name "Angel Smile" was particularly convenient to illustrate this mix between their live positive energy and the deep messages coming out of their lyrics.

Three discs were produced during this first phase : a single "Waiting For", a home demo "Winter On The Roof - The Draft Album" and a studio mini-album "Winter On The Roof" (see discography for more details).

In March 2003, Angel Smile starts a new challenge : leaving their former "live band" status and composing, imagining, writing something new...
