Anaxim is composed of Alex Mejia(Lead Guitar/Piano/Vocals), Adam Neece(Bass Guitar/Backing Vocals), Jason Gallardo(Lead Guitar/Backing Vocals), and Marcus Ayala(Drums). We formed the band in August of 2004 and have been writing original material ever since. Our music is a combination of our influences ranging from death metal to classical guitar. Being that we listen to a myriad of different genres, the music we create reflects our tastes and we have songs that are extremly heavy, for all the metal heads out there, and others that are catchy and can be enjoyed by anyone who likes music. Since being together we have performed at various places in Brownsville including buffalo wild wings, last chapter coffe shop, the hanna comedy hour, and many more. Including these venues we have also competed at various events: Rivera Talent Show: 1st place, Knights of Columbus Battle of the Bands: 1st place, Lopez Battle of the Bands: 1st place, Hanna Battle of the Bands: 1st Place, Mr. Gatti's Battle of the Bands: 1st place. Demolay Battle of the Bands: 2nd place. we continue to perform and make original music and we hope one day that you too can enjoy seeing us perform live........
