Chapter VI
The Beginning Of A New Era
October 2006

After playing seventeen shows in a period of february till october we felt we wanted to reach a higher musical level and the band had to make a difficult choice.
We decided to look for a new vocalist.

"Sometimes there comes a time when you have to take though descisions when being in a band, in regards to the musical direction one wants to follow. All four of us felt more and more uneasy about the vocals of our former singer. It was not that he was a really bad singer, but he had a narrow range and we wanted someone who could do some clean vocals also. We have found that singer, and it is Kenny Devos. He mixes sparkling clean vocals with intense screams and a mix between the two. We intended more musical freedom and options for the future of our band, and now we feel confident we have found the person who can join us in that.

In doing so we had to dissapoint Spike, our former singer. There is no easy way in explaining that to somebody, and they will always be very dissapointed. It was a musical descision and we have no hard feelings against him, though we try to be understanding that he has those against us and acted accordingly, and did some things where we couldn't defend ourselves to people who followed always fallen. He had vested high hopes in our band, but we felt his voice was limiting our growth and choices. We wish him all the best with his future undertakings."

A new Always Fallen era had begun.

Chapter VII
The Priest
November 2006

The first show with the new lead vocalist was rather close as it had allready been planned and organised before we decided to change vocals. In 3 weeks time we prepared Kenny for the show and it worked out perfect!

Chapter VIII
No Mercy In The Studio
December 2006

After 9 months of playing shows we felt that we had enough of material and that it was time to record our stuff. In December 2006 Always Fallen went to AK's studio in Veurne and recorded a 5 song demo cd which will be released on the 24th of February, one year after our first gig! We are very excited about this and hope you will check out our music!
