Biografie : Aggressor (UK-2)

Basically, we are a metal band that originally started in early 2000 in Swansea by Dan Lacey (Guitar & Vocals), but has been severely revised when we went to university in 2005, where James Ford (Bass), Rich Gilbert (Drums), and Matt Cater (Guitar) joined the band. We had been gigging locally (Wales/ Southwest England) since 2005, but since we have all finished university we really started to focus our efforts on the band. It is an unanimous and important goal that we make AGGRESSOR a full time career and a multi national success. We put a lot of effort into each gig, and afterwards always try to meet the crowd ask for feedback and if they can suggest any improvements (the feedback is usually good). It is from this effort that we signed a record contract, management contract and booking contract with Swerve Records Ltd. and Live Promotions Ltd.

We are a four piece band (vocals & guitar, bass, drums, guitar), with a joint lead guitar vibe but with clear solos and catchy riffs. We sound like early Metallica/ Megadeth, so we have a very old school style of '80's thrash and have approximately an hour and a half worth of original material.
We are a band that is really closely knit, we don't just turn up as a band to play, we lived together for years, so we work very well together on-stage and with crowds. We always leave gigs with a much larger fan base.

The vocals are sung not growled or screamed, we have good equipment, but we would require a PA system for vocals. We can always get the crowd going and encourage the audience to participate with chanting and singing along. Our songs are so regularly rehearsed we are very tight whilst playing, which allows us to focus more to the stage show (playing and interacting). After performances we often go drinking with the other bands and fans/crowd. Our costs are negotiable, as is our slot on the bill. We appreciate everything we get, and are definitely more than capable to pull off any headlining slot.

We have been gigging across the UK, playing large cities such as Manchester, to the smaller towns such as Cirencester, so we know how to deal with any size of audience playing from Large Venues to Small Pubs. We are putting realistic efforts to expand our fan base across the entirety of the UK and further expand our ventures into Europe and the US with hard work, and confident effort.

We have appeared on radio stations from Swansea to Birmingham, and even in the US as we have regular airplay on Xtreme Metal Radio. We have had our band advertised in Kerrang! on their unsigned page for approximately a month (back when we were unsigned), and we have appeared in a local newspapers across the South West of the UK.
