Biografie : Agarwean

Agarwean (which is said to mean Bloody in Tolkien's Elfish) was founded in early 2002 in Kutná Hora, Czech Republic. The original line-up consisted of Pavel Holaj (known as Frája, vocals), David Hlavinka (Dejvos, bass), Petr Lebeda (guitar), Karel Kadeřábek (guitar) a Ondra Štorek (drums).

Karel took part in composing and rehearsing the first songs of Agarwean but he left the band before the first concerts. Agarwean played the first concerts with four members and in January 2003 it recorded the first demo called Enter which includes 12 songs from the first year of existence of the band.

It was about the time when Michal Malének (Malis) started to be around the band. At first he translated some lyrics and made internet pages for the band to grab the guitar not a long time after Karel had left and thus to become a real member of Agarwean.

The group played once more with the new line-up and a pretty long break came during which the band went back to the rehearsal room and started working on new material.

At the end of 2003 Dejvos left the band because he did not have enough time after he got married and started working out of Kutná Hora. He was replaced by Petr Liška known as Lišák who also started participating on writing new songs.

The work on new songs led to recording of the second demo, Human Over, in November 2004.

At the end of March 2006 Michal left the band because he was too busy at work and the band has only four memebers again.

In Augsut 2007 Agarwean recorded its third demo called Among the Dead Behind that includes 3 songs from the previous demo Human Over. A thte end of September Agawrwean promotes this demo at a three-day tour Private Hell
