1999 marked the summoning of a horde of brutal black metal warriors from the infernal plains of Houston, Texas. This legion was called ADUMUS. Formed by drummer, Vomit (former Imprecation (Repulse Records) and Dark Reign in the early 90's), Adumus has quickly evolved into a force to be reckoned with. The current line-up includes vocalist/bassist - Cerberus, guitarist - Moon, guitarist - Archfiend, and Vomit on drums.

In October of 1999, Adumus cut their first demo entitled "Infinite Battles for Immortality", which received highly successful reviews in North America, South America, Europe and Asia, and in turn, laid the foundation for the band's crushing career. Then in January 2001, "Besieging Abominations", a 5-song demo, was released, selling over 1000 copies and continuing to have an incredible response even today. The 3rd recording, and first full-length album, "To Heed The Call of War", has just been unleashed in October 2004, and is anticipated to be an even further success and deeper slice into the dark realm of black metal.

In support of these releases, the horde has performed shows in Texas and Mexico alongside Krisiun, Angel Corpse, Amon Amarth, Origin, Incantation, Vader, Thornspawn, Diabolic, Skinless, and many other well-known and respected black and death metal bands. Soon Adumus will be performing in other parts of the United States. The band is featured in numerous fanzines and compilations in both America and Europe, in which they continually have a noteworthy response.

Adumus is currently writing more pagan black metal anthems and destroying everything in their path with a devastating, unforgettable live performance; be on the lookout as they continue to crush their way through the world.
