Paul "Boomer" Stamp is a Canadian drummer from Newfoundland. He played in bands such as Huski with Brian "Too Loud" MacLeod in the early 1970s. He later joined Private Eye and was featured on their stand alone album "Private Eye". After departing Private Eye, he joined the Wonderful Grand Band, replacing Rocky Wiseman. He was featured on their second album "Living in a Fog" in 1981. Stamp was also a main character on the band's eponymous television show "The Wonderful Grand Band". He stayed with the band until they folded in 1983. He later went on to tour with WGB bandmate, Ron Hynes.
