Born in Mexico City, he began his musical studies at the age of 6 with private drum tutors among which Antonio Sanchez (Pat Metheny Trio) stands out, he was part of the Boys Choir of the National School of Music with which he made several tours. In 2002 he began his studies as an instrumentalist in percussion at the National School of Music, in 2006 began studying Audio Engineering and Music Production at Fermatta Music Academy.
As a professional drummer he stands out as a founding member of the Mexican Thrash Metal band "Strike Master" since 2005, with whom he released three studio albums and toured around Mexico, USA, Europe (Spain, Germany, France Belgium, Italy, Switzerland) and South America (Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador) highlighting their participation in international festivals such as: "Boricua Metal Fest" (Puerto Rico 2006), "Thrasho De Mayo" (Los Angeles, CA 2006 ) "Keep It True" (Germany 2008), sharing the stage with internationally renowned bands like TESTA- MENT, POSSESSED, OMEN, MANILLA ROAD, FUELED BY FIRE, VIOLATOR, DIABLO SWING ORCHESTRA, DEATH TO ALL, EXODUS, THE AGONIST, THE FACELESS, LEGION OF THE DAMNED, HAVOK, etc.
Guest drummer for the Swedish band "Darkcreed" for which he recorded the album "Dark Regions" (Soulseller Records, 2008), as a session musician and with whom he played on the "In Festering Slime" festival in Stockholm, Sweden.
He also is the founding drummer of his current group "Acrania" since 2001, with whom he toured Europe with the support of "The Wacken Foundation" (Berlin, Soest, Dresden, Helsinki, Zurich) and more recently launched his third studio album entitled "Fearless" with support from the National Council for Culture and Arts (CONACULTA) and the National Fund for Culture and the Arts (FONCA).
He has been said to be an influential drummer for new waves of mexican drummers, specially drummers that want to play metal. He currently develops professionally as a session and/or studio drummer, and as an Audio engineer and music producer. Also, he is an Aquarian Drumheads, Cympad & Westone Audio endorser.
