Fotis Benardo known as Fotis Gianakopoulos, which is his real name was born in Thessaloniki, Grecce and he is one of the most known and talented drummers in metal music. He has been participated in many bands like Innerwish from 1998 to 2002, Nightrage from 2004 to 2006 and of course Septicflesh from 2003. Fotis' playing is really marvellous and he is famous for the blastbeasts. Now apart from Septicflesh he is also playing drums in Double Square and he produced their first album The Hive.
