guitar for two years, Andy went to the University of Miami to study jazz guitar. He went to
Dallas, Texas shortly after where The Andy Timmons Band had quite a following. Sony
recording artists Danger Danger recruited Andy to help finish their debut album and film some
videos. After touring, recording and just having fun with Danger Danger for four years, Andy
returned to North Texas to further pursue his solo act. He released seven albums after his
triumphant return, all of which were successful. He has been ranked incredibley high in many
music polls, has been voted “Musician of the Year” for the past four years by Dallas Observer
Music Awards, has been compared to such artists as Jimi Hendrix, Steve Vai, Matthew
Johnson, Kenny Wayne Sheppard and Eric Johnson and is one of the most distinguished and
sought after clinicians representing Ibanez. But Andy’s favorite accomplishment is one of his
most recent, when his son Alexander Julian Timmons was born on March 11, 2004. Andy
