Beyond Light : The Blessing of a Dead Sun

This is a demo/EP released by Belfalas on 2 December 2008. It features entirely acoustic sounds with spoken words, screams and shrieks. The demo consists of 7 songs with a running time of 28 minutes. The demo also show a lot of sound effects : Subway sounds/rain ect.

This second release of Belfalas show improvement in sound and atmosphere, the entire album has a good dark depressive atmosphere. 2/3 songs really stick out.

The Blessing of a Dead Sun III :
The longest song with some intensive shrieking/screaming parts reminds me of Graftoner by Hypothermia it really is an impressive song

In The Shadow Of A Dead Sun I/II :
The first parts has rain effects in it and a acoustic guitar playing a slow and soft riff.

The second part is the best song of the demo in my opinion with a fade in guitar and even a little solo this song definitely sticks out. I also like the vocals and spoken words in this song.

People who love depressive black metal in a acoustic hypothermia like way will love this demo. I really expect a lot from the future releases.
