Liste der Bands Death Metal Arkhan M.A.C.H.I.N.E.

First TRUE album of the Swiss Death Metal band Arkhan which does not cease gaining ground in the Death Metal both in Switzerland and abroad.

I am not a large amateur of Death in general but following several factors independent, I had the honor to listen to M.A.C.H.I.N.E. before its exit !

The album is described in a death with step badly of black influences and even some splendid passages melodicosymphonic!

The first track, Execute is a powerful and destroying massacre. The voice is raucous and serious with some intermitances acuter than I do not appreciate so much but good... The box at rates/rhythms (indeed the group does not count a beater) is perfectly programated in agreement with the cords and the vocal ones and this during all the album. One will note in this first album the quality of the solos which habitudent in the death don't make me anything...

Hehe, would be this Panzer-Division? Not, if the group wanted to imitate them it is only for the intro and undoubtedly added these noises of machines and armament soldiers without thinking of it. And for the continuation even less! The riffs are fluid at the beginning, then become progressivent more jerked giving an impression of continuous artillery heave! All the length besides of small effects of explosions and large shots appear, but their discretion do not harm the music. The track is this time accompanied by time to other of small electronic sounds redimensionnant a little the whole. A warlike piece in the heart of the battle! A True M.A.C.H.I.N.E. of war!!! One close the whole with this kind of vocal message with a female-intonated voice which says to you that you made a success of the mission at the end of a good old Shott' EM All.

Texas Lesbien Barbecue changes the register with a kind of spacial execution into intro... Then riffs on-jerked with double artificial pedals then riffs which leave the top to the bottom, the top downwards and so on. Then a solo as strange as the intro and an inversion: the riff share of bottom upwards. A kind of solo is followed from there to the keyboard, which just to have an idea of the sound, just sounds as certain Children (on the level of the sound it is not copy!!!). And one finished with same the riff jerked as at the beginning.

1001 Reasons To Kill is the piece with the heaviest voice of the album, in perfect agreement with the riffs, but the battery remains fast beginning with the end! Destruction, massacre, here what summarizes the piece!

Now, the track of the album! Nemesis! Ah what a fury at the fans of Metal at the time of their concert! The beginning make not many effect but after a few seconds one feels the black influence whose profited the group thanks to some from its members! As its name indicates it it is an ode with the war, vangeance and so on... Eh but one would say melody agreements to the limit sympho... I was mistaken? NO and there are approximately 2 minutes before the end which one realizes that it is not a dream: Violins, drums, trumpets... guitars and low, all gathered for two minutes symphonic without precedent! At this time I must myself of saying that all the hands rose in the room !!!

The Prisoner is for the badest track of the album... But you have to make your opinion on top.

Motorhead, Blootbath, intro of All-in wrestler HHH version Black Death very succeeded! The riffs are more powerful, the voice obviously heavier and raucous while respecting the bases of the original piece. Sympathetic to listen frankly!

Little Stinky Monkey, the piece which derives a little in is delirious (Small puant monkey...), but which will not in no case to shoot at grind or I do not know what!!! Speed and power are always with the honor with this refrain well sympathetic nerve: Little, stinky... MONKEY!!!!

We finishe with Tromassacre, cutting up, motorized and always so powerful! One would believe oneself in a true sawmill in fatal vocation. The riffs seem in makes be recorded by a slicer.

A particular album in the good direction of the therme and dissociating itself somewhat from traditional Death.
