Liste der Bands Metalcore Sympathy For Nothing Living Shades

Well, first I want to say that Sympathy for Nothing is a successful band from Upper Austria who won the INTERNATIONAL LIVE AWARD (1000 Bands from 6 Nations) in 2008, were finalist at LOCAL HEROES Austria and have with Martin Wagner THE BEST YOUNG DRUMMER in Austria. Their music video ROADS TO ROME (included on this EP as song and video) was winner at MTV Rookie Germany.
They give many concerts on well-known music festivals like the Donauinselfest (AT) and Upload Festival (IT).

But I don't want to say only things about this great band. This EP is really brilliant. It includes 4 songs (Total lenght 13 Minutes), the music video ROADS TO ROME and a mediabook with all lyrics and mp3's. Nice idea guys and a very good cover. I think this cover shows the listener that they play Metalcore but they could be surprised when they listen to all songs, which are very melodic. Maybe the last song D.F.M.H. is their hardest played song on this CD. But every songs is played with a piano-sounding keyboard.

Well, I have really never heard those music before because I thought that Metalcore is a really hard genre and have no melodic influences. Now I have to say that I am wrong...

All songs are a highlight (on my oppinion). Each song tell a social critic story or are based on experiences from all band members. Well but the really really really best thing is their music video which they reached the fifth place at MyVideo Musicstar Germany and a first place at MTV Rookie.

The LP costs only 5 €uro (I think it's really okay for those a good CD) but they only sell their CD in Germany and Austria.

Well this CD is a very-well start for a young band and maybe they will get famous one day.

This EP is very good (one of the best CDs I have bought) but I think the guys can more. They have a really high potential...
