Stratovarius bass player Lauri Porra will soon release a solo CD.
The long awaited debut solo album of Lauri Porra will be out 26th of October 2005. The album features the most respected players in Finland: Jussi Lehtonen, Tuomo Prättälä, Mikko Kaakkuriniemi, Timo Kämäräinen, Alexi Laiho, Janne Huttunen, Jukka Uljas, Jay Kortehisto, Emma Salokoski and Tero Lindberg. Gulfam Sabri (from India) plays tabla on one track. The album will include a bass solo version of Jean Sibelius' "Valse Triste". The other 8 tunes are Lauri Porra originals.
