Skjaersild born in autumn 2004 in the city of Terrassa. Skjaersild consists of a single member, Ravn. Skjaersild name means purgatory in Norwegian. Skjaersild is influenced by two styles of music, Black Metal and Environment, but with great particularity, and is that all tracks are instrumental. The only basis is the narrative voice of the different passages. The main influences are Skjaersild Burzum, Wongraven, Satyricon, Dargaard, Summoning, Drudkh and Apotheosis. In early 2005, he published his first demo Skjaersild Skjaersild call. The demo only has two tracks, one of Black Metal and other Environmental, reaching a total length of about 15 minutes. In mid-2007, published its second demo Skjaersild Damned called Roots. For three years Skjaersild silent for personal reasons and lack of commitment, but in October 2010 is back with more force and a new demo, Yggdrasil.
