The story of a group DIRTY GAME isn't very long. First glimpses of the befinning (it would be too early to speak about the group how we know it nowadays) can be tracked down in 2003. At that time, a drummer Martin Vodera and a guitarist Petr Vohanka from techno-art-metal group PESSIMIST tried to express their feeling for more melodic music.They recorded a couple of demo tracks, where could be found their endeavour for partial transformation of avant-garde music which they produced in PESSIMIST. In 2004, they parted their ways with PESSIMIST due to different musical feelings and after half a year of hiatus they started to work on a material for a new project called DIRTY GAME. In May 2004 a keyboardist Jiri Markvart joined the band and after a year of searching a singer with mighty pipes Petr "Doldy" Dolenek stepped in. This line up started to write first songs and made promo CD. Thanks to this promo CD DIRTY GAME got to the final part of a prestigious contest Czech rock league 2006, in which they stormed to the splendid third place from 350 competitive bands. They also won the price as the best group voted by spectators. They were voted the best group once again at a traditional rock festival "Rockfest Dobris".Their hit song "Dirty Game" was put on a compilation CD "Best of Czech rock league 2006" and they got a platinum disc from Post Office Savings Bank as all of groups involved on this CD . The year 2006 was a definite success and a breakthrough for DIRTY GAME. In 2007 DIRTY GAME played on some festival, among others they played on two most famous festivals in the Czech Republic (Basinfirefest and Masters Of Rock), where the guys played before such groups as MOTORHEAD, URIAH HEEP, STRATOVARIUS, SEPULTURA, CHILDREN OF BODOM and many others famous groups. At the same time the band started to record their debut album, which name is "Flame of Loneliness". The music of the band is very often marked as progressive metal with some influences of modern metal with emphasis on strong melodies. Release of the debut is planned on December 2007.
