Austin Carlile was born in Pensacola, Florida. He currently has an new untitled project featuring guitarist Alan Ashby in the works.

Carlile began as a vocalist for electronic screamo band Attack Attack! in 2005. He recorded "If Guns Are Outlawed, Can We Use Swords? EP" and "Someday Came Suddenly" until in 2008, due to personal issues, he left the band.

Afterwards, he formed another post-hardcore project starting off with him and bassist/vocalist Jaxin Hall called Of Mice And Men in 2009. In early 2010, after receiving a full lineup, he recorded their self-titled album. However, later that year, he was unable to continue with the band due to health issues.

Soon afterwards, Austin worked on his new solo project, which was later signed onto Rise Records. Meanwhile, he rejoined Of Mice And Men as their vocalist in early 2011, replacing Jerry Roush.

He did guest vocals for many songs such as "Have You Ever Danced?" by Breathe Carolina along with Jeffree Star and David Strauchman (Every Avenue), "Truth Be Told" by Her Demise My Rise, "It's a Long Drive Home from Texas" by We Are Defiance.
