The Headless Horseman is great album from Australian metal wizards Pegazus. It is very heavu with hard riffs and very catchy choruses, very melodic album with many metal hymns, Headless Horsman song is very good, Night Stalker is fast HM song with many 80's trash metal influences, my favorite is real battle hymn Call To Arms. All songs are written very carefully so they can statisfy metalheads who don't even like Heavy Metal much. Vocals on these album are great even many people are complaining he is not singing very high 'n' heavy, but I think it is mindless 'cos these kind of vocals are perfectly fits in music background of The Headless Horseman album, for wxample liste The Patriot song, very melodic with strong bass line and heavy/speed guitar riffs. Drums are not very fast so when you listen to this album you don't get feeling you are listening some speed metal, my friends and I tryed to play some song with constant double bit and we got pure speed metal, but I think Pegazus done it much better. Lyrics are very good and I think every true metalhead should be very happy with this Pegazus album at least.
