Dynasty - Step by Step - It's my dear Naor ... Time does not forgive and passes quickly. It seems like it was yesterday that I conducted an interview with Dynasty, as well as went to the show to launch the EP in Nova Lima. Almost 20 years later I'm here with your third album in hand. But time can be merciless, but also a friend. It teaches us, matures, sensitizes us and makes us wiser. Proof of this is this Step by Step, which far from me wanting to belittle previous ones, (I even have the song Not In Vain from Motus Perpetuus as one of my favorites) brings a band with new blood that surprises not only by technique and professionalism, but for love and dedication to work. Another surprise is his vocal that underwent a great change, leaving the melodic one and becoming a little more aggressive. And the songs? Wow! Each song here is unique unparalleled, showing that time has taught you to let go of styles, bringing a heavy, varied and delicious album from beginning to end. I remember a comment from you with Mário Linhares, saying that this album was his third son. I'm sorry to contradict you, but here you have 9 children, plus you have adopted one of the fabulous Kamikaze. (beautiful homage, both in Portuguese and the Spanish version for the classic Minas Machado de Guerra.) Without a doubt, Step by Step is for me one of the best albums of 2017 being already included among my bedside.
