乐队列表 Avantgardiste Black Shining (SWE) IV - The Eerie Cold

IV – The Eerie Cold the fourth release of the Swedish band Shining, as I already had heard the previous releases my expectations where very high, and I must say all my wishes regarding this album are granted.

The album starts of with I och Med Insikt Skall du Förgå which’s starts with some good acoustic tunes, also the bass parts are great and you can clearly hear Hellhammers style on the drums (which I prefer) than a solo kicks in which is really emotional and great composed. With the end of the solo comes the begin of the electric part which a nice cold black metal riff, and when finally Kvarforth kicks in all my wishes for the perfect Shining album are granted what a raw voice full of hate and anger I love it.

The other songs on the album are great to, for instance Eradication of the Condition features a great acoustic intro as well and The Eerie Cold (Samvetskvalens Ballad) really got to me with a very nice dark bass riff and a guitar riff the entire song becomes indeed the perfect atmospheric suicide song, also it features some spoken words at the end of the song with some guy who sound really desperate and scared somehow I Love It.

I Brief the entire album is great for beginning to end, the guitar are cleaner and different from previous Shining releases, but I think in this case it’s a good thing, Kvarforth really managed to create a dark depressive atmospheric which I really like.
