really? i've listened to that album, and i've tried to like it but, after De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas, i haven't much been into Mayhem, that album sounds almost Avant-Garde compared to their early stuff. after Euronymous Died, the band kinda went downhill i think

They're a little bit too heavy to be a Gothic Metal band. Compare Mortal Love and Cradle Of Filth, nearly no resemblance.
