Swedish death metal band Throne of Heresy started in 2009 with the ambition to spread their own brand of heresy all over the world. Three years of meticulous work went into creating the band's first full length album "The Stench of Deceit", released in 2012.

Joined by Ted Sjulmark (GRIMNER) on guitar, Throne of Heresy then played a few live shows but suddenly found themselves without a vocalist which put the gigging schedule on hold.

In early 2013 old school belter Thomas Clifford (ABSCESSION, ZOMBIE DESTRÜKTION) joined the heretic ranks as vocalist and was put to the test recording the three track EP "Realms of Desecration" almost immediately.

This EP stakes out a progression in the band's development as being more aggressive, technical and varied than the band's prior material. The variation in "Realms of Desecration" is key as Throne of Heresy is constantly evolving and refuse to become stuck in a certain style or sound. The result? Judge for yourselves.
