Me, the Monster was a solo project started in 2014 by Joshua Adam Stevens who recorded and engineered the guitar, vocals, bass, keyboards with a mix of drums and drum machines. In 2015 David Seaton joined the project as a vocalist. Shortly after that turned into a bunch of guys joining the band (Dylan Bendler, Nicholas Robbins, Michael Robbins, and Daniel Sanders) playing metal around the Saint Louis Area.

Influences from a wide variety of bands such as: After the Burial, Veil of Maya, Born of Osiris, Periphery, Corelia, Novelists, Volumes, Protest the Hero, Metallica, Megadeth, Scorpions, and other various artists.
