Powerful and melodic Alternative Guitar Rock made in Switzerland – this is probably the most incisive trademark of the band HEAD-Z.

The band has been founded back in the mid of 2008 by Tom Galbardi (Guit. and Backing Vocals) and Pascal Iten (Guit.), after both of them have been active in a mutual way within the Swiss music scene for nearly 8 years. In August of 2008 Damian Caluzi (Bass) and Remo Habegger (Drums and Backing Vocals) joined up the existing formation, hence the instrumental base has been completed. Just a couple of weeks later after an intensive hunt and several castings later, Martin Kalberer (lead vocals) joined the existing formation, whereby the right match for the vacant job has been found.

The tunes of those five guys are most likely somewhere in the genres of Nu Rock/Metal, Alternative, Post-Grunge and Crossover, which means their sound is timely appropriate and rather modern. Actually, to a greater degree hip within the first decade of the 2000’s. There sure is a recurrent theme recognizable in the band’s songwriting method. To be more precise, the melodic and tight part is a very defining and major part in their music. It is also well considerable, that each of the five band members participate the same amount of work into the songwriting process. Down to the present day HEAD-Z successed on a larger scale that concert promoters were convinced with their shows. Some of them already booked the band for their upcoming events. Those five rather charismatic and very professional acting guys steadily compel respect for one’s views and continue their way undeterred.
