Handful Of Dust, the brainchild of several highly experienced and talented musicians, came to life in 2011.

Farid Medjane and Yves Brusco got things going, after finishing a lengthy stint of touring with their respective groups as well as legendary group Trust.

Very quickly they started to miss the music, the stage and the audiences, which is what really motivated them. Yves gave Farid some demo
s to listen to, and they immediately decided to once again unite their talent and to create a new group, Handful Of Dust.

Lou Ben, an experienced singer/songwriter, was a perfect fit for the true rock spirit that they wanted in their songs. So he was chosen to join on the project.

The combination of their musical compositions and Lou Ben’s lyrics in English gave birth to their first album.

In this pure rock universe, there are many American and British influences worthly of the great hard rock bands that they played with over the years.

Farid Medjane is an experienced drummer who has toured all around the world with different bands, and more specifically with Trust.

Yves Brusco, better known as « Vivi » is also a former member of Trust, and has been the guitarist for many different French groups. He has extensive live experience, and is the guitarist and backing vocalist of Handful Of Dust

Lou Ben, recruited by Farid Medjane and Yves Brusco, also has a great experience as well as a studio background; he has been sound engineer for many acts. On stage, he quickly stood out as a leader in rock and hard rock bands.

the band was join by Iso Diop on bass. Player, arranger, and producer who has contributed to many successful acts. He has also been part of the Trust “adventure”.
