Gravelord is a metal band originally formed in May 2011 Cantaura anzoategui state, initiated by Jesus Plaza (Guitarist) and Jesus Orozco (bass) who want to form a metal project influenced by Melodic Death Metal, Thrash Metal, Power Metal, among others.

In May 2011, recruited to the formation Hector "Lobo" Velasquez on vocals and Jose Martinez on drums (who is also drummer for the band Warsektor),but for personal reasons Hector dedices to abandon the proyect.

The band decided to continue with the rehearsals even without a vocalist, starting to rehearse their own songs and some covers of bands like Norther, Dark Tranquility, Kalmah.

In August 2011, accompanied by Luis Enrique Gomez on vocals for the band's first performance with Warsektor and Los Vendequeso, both emerging bands from Cantaura City, becoming known as one of the first bands of extreme trends of the town.

after many rehearsals, would join Ricardo Fuentes as vocalist, demonstrating great vocal skills, thus obtaining more stable formation of the band so far.

In 2012, the band presents their first demo entitled "Remains Of The Legions", presented the songs "The Awakening" "Legions of the Damned," "Broken" "Evil or Divine" and "Natural State"
