Avgrunn is a solo project started in 2007, concentrating on minimalistic dark ambient music, inspired by black metal. The early songs weren’t maybe a high quality ones but they had a very special, cold feeling surrounding them... In 2009 I recorded my second album (the never released EP named "Frost*"). It was different from the first album (''Inne avgrunnen av vinter'' - never released [2008]) and today I’m not particularly happy with it.
At the end of the year 2008 and the beginning of 2009 I went the experimental way with my music. That mirrored itself in the songs created in the first half of 2009: they were a result of me searching for a new, unique sound. A third wave of Avgunn development started with the song ''Det Nye Tidsalder''.
The 26th day of November 2009 marked another milestone in the history of the project: Svartgalgh Records released 5 of my tracks on a Split-CD with Lunarium. The CD is currently sold out.
2013 - it has been done. First full length album ''Paths Forgotten'' has been released by the russian label Cvlminis. Check them out on Facebook.
