The Portuguese Thrash Metal band ADAMANTINE, was formed in the summer of 2007. Four musicians decided to innovate, in the art of Metal, with an aggressive yet melodic sound with epic themes of lusitanian history and Portuguese culture. The band did several shows around their hometown Lisbon, increasing their name in the scene.
In September 2009, they entered the Press Play Musica Studios with the producer Alex S. to record the debut EP "Downfall of Adamastor" this release had good reviews in the media (zines, magazines, blogs and fans), allowing ADAMANTINE to grow even more and make a mini tour across the country, gathering more fans and followers.
During this tour, they had the chance to be the opening act for two international bands, being them Gama Bomb and Destruction!!
The boys are now working on the pre-production of the first full length, to be recorded in the summer of 2011. In the meanwhile, a new single was released "Thrash and Devastate" (recorded at Poison Apple Studios)

2011 will be the year of the Lusitanian Thrash Metal rise!!
