The Czech Republic has a new international metal festival! Its first
year will take place at The End of May, 21.­-23. May 2010 in PLZE?, Amfiteátr Lochotín and will open
the festival season in the CR!

The Area:
The pilsener natural amphitheatre became popular mainly thanks to the
folk festival Porta which took place here before. The Area is surrounded by a
beautiful park and meadows. By one side it neighbours with the pilsener ZOO. In
general it is a very beautiful natural location which is Meanwhile only one
kilometre in a beeline from the historic centre of Plzen.

Pilsner Urquell brewery
You can see the process of creation of world-wide
famous beer, its history and modern operations. In the historic cellars you can
taste the famous lager tapped right from the oak casks.
     
Brewery museum
Entertaining and educating exposition in uniquely well
conserved brewery house from the 15th century which shows the ways
of preparation, serving and drinking beer from the ancient times to nowadays.

Pilsener historic underground
Learn about the life under the city and mysteries of
the labyrinth of corridors, cellarc and wells which were constructed since the
14th century. Part of the visitation is also a tasting of half-dark
Master beer (only from age of 18!). The entrance is from the Brewery museum.
