After many experiences in various bands of various universes, we decided in October 2009 to form the project "Over The Reason".

This project is mainly oriented at the "metalcore", "Old School" sounds are found. Loving, above all the music itself, we draw our inspiration from a wide range of artists from Killswitch Engage, Bullet for my Valentine, Trivium, The Haunted to Edguy.

We're working in a way to bring out a positive atmosphere mixed with a powerful, energetic and aerial music. With regard to our texts, we have chosen to illustrate them with two distinct voices, a deep voice that supports certain passages and a melodious voice which raises and affirms our universe.

Having a good scene experiences, we have decided for this project to isolate ourselves to compose, record and master our first EP, with Arnaud Simon ZBstudio and Colonel Nico studio Tandem before traveling concert halls.

For this EP, it is with great enthusiasm and pleasure that we welcome Maxime Pouille (singer form "Until The Last") on the song "Loosing Control" and Butcho Vukovic (singer from "Watcha") on the title "World of Vanity.

The first EP come out and after some lives, the band has know some departures : Guillaume (guitar) replaced by Kevin, Tof (drums) replaced by Tom and Thomas (guitar) replaced by JP.

About 10 shows played and with a new line-up , a second 3 tracks EP will be available in june 2012, with 2 new songs ("Poison" and "This Pain Gnaws Me") and another one taken from the previous EP : "World of Vanity". This CD will bring an idea of the new Over's sound, which keep the spirit and the versatility of the old songs, with new inspirations.
