Biografia : Necrocide (SWE)

It all began in in the spring -96 under the name "Vain", with Tommy
Holmer, Per Söderlund and 2 other guys (Erland and Richard) as the
first members. It all resulted in one song:"Selfextinction", and a couple
of covers, who where performed once and never again...
Erland and Richard left the band, while Söderlund and Holmer, together
with the new member Daniel Westerberg created "Sepulchral".
It was under this period, the songs "Sepulchral" and "Maimed Bitch"
were made, lyrics containing serial killers and Vampires started to grow.
The songs were performed at one time in the rehearsal room, and even
recorded on vhs. In the summer -97, Richard returns to become the
bassist of the band. In the autumn -97 the first studio recording were
made. Not to proud over it due the lack of time, it where never
official released.
After a couple of month´s, in January -98, Sepulchral made a gig with
some local bands at a nearby concert. Introduced into the songs just
days before the concert, the new guitarist Pär Sving made his first
apperance with the group. In summer -98, Westerberg had to leave the
band because of studies in another city, and Söderlund replaced him as
leadsinger.
Short after that Westerberg had left the group, a small change where made
in the music. From vampire death metal into "grind" deathmetal, such as
Morbid Angel and Cannibal Corpse, and the name where changed to
Necrocide. But in the summer -99 Richard left the band as well, and a
new member Roberth Svensson, started to play bass. But that didn´t last
too long, and Svensson and Söderlund changed instruments.
In February -00, a gig was made in Hudiksvall containing a cover of
Deicide´s "Sacrificial Suicide". Later on, in Mars/April, Victor Brandt
joined the session, and in June we recorded the first Necrocide demo,
that surely many of you have listened to.
