Lionsoul were born at the end of 2009 by the guitarist Aurelio Parise. Since his first project called Walhalla ended, he has been aimed to reform a power metal band with common heavy features, so he decided to call Ivan Castelli (vocals), who was the founder of the Power/folk metal band Spellblast and his long time friend.

In the following two years Aurelio and Ivan wrote the first ten songs, discovering an incredible and unexpected compositional feeling each other.
In 2011 they decided to form the band involving the guitarist Mattia Belloli, friend and co-founder with Aurelio of Walhalla, who gives a striking and powerful support, even with vocal parts.

Roberto Poli joined in February 2012, taking a place on bass, proving himself essential for the weaving of the sound.
The rhythm section was completed with Luca Secomandi, who has been sitting behind the drums since June 2012, creating granitic riffs in combination between power and precision.

After a rehearsal period, they felt the need to extend the structure of the songs with the addition of keyboards, so, in September 2012, Giuliano Canu got in in the band, joining the context perfectly. The line up was completed.

At the moment, Lionsoul are working on the show for the first live acts.
