The Kill The Klown project is born on 2008 from the meeting of Chicco (bass), Gillo (voice) and Leo (guitar). All of them were part of different bands that played around the region of Padova and Vicenza. This three guys met together joined by the passion for bands like Lamb of God, Hatebreed, Machine Head, Down and overall Pantera.

At the end of a short term used to play some covers and reinforce the band's feeling the trio moved to write their own music starting from the idea to propose a kind of music direct and full of impact, "Thrash Metal with Hardcore Attitude".
At the same time, during the composition of the first tracks, started also the research for the other players to finalize the band. After a period of attempts with different musicians, Leo called in the band Beppe (guitar) and Luca (drums). Both were part of a different project with Leo and they entered in the band feeling themselves perfectly in the new mood and bringing some new enthusiasm and new power for the band's creativity.

Is in this period that the monicker of the band was created: "Kill The Klown". The concept start from the fact that, watching today the world, the tv, the newspapers and everything is around us it's impossible to not see how many people ridiculize themselves, giving awful shows and situations, only to have a "prestigious" place in the society. All this "Klown" are the people against the five "Executioners" are. Few words, concreteness and passion, this is what we believe and this is what we want to show. All of this bring the band, in the 2011, to create the first Promo, recorded to Remaster Studio in Vicenza under the supervision of Nick Savio (White Skull/Hollow Haze/Cyber Cross). The promo is composed by two songs: "Bleeding Stone" and "Kill The Klown".

This Promo came out with an enthusiastic judgement from fans, radio and internet sites.
After this the band started to prepare tracks for the first full length: “The Show Could Be Your Execution”. The first band’s release is recorded between July and August 2011, published by Crash&Burn Records and distributed by Twilight Distribution, Masterpiece Distribution and EMP.
The band is now putting a lot of effort promoting its music with live performances. Shows are full of hardcore energy with an unstoppable wall of sound from the first to the last note and an incredible energetic mood on the stage.
The band is also writing new stuff for the next release.
