Metal band from Assis, state of São Paulo, Brazil. The idea arose more or less 3 years ago (through Gustavo Benine and Guilherme Lima) with other formations, eventually including Luis Rodrigo and Lucas Barbosa, but it was consolidated and left the garage at the end of 2023 when the band Strange Inc. ( old name of the band) was looking for a new vocalist with vocal capabilities for Metal. Here comes João V. de Oliveira, a new university student in the city looking for a band, who, through good contacts, was invited and joined the project without thinking twice. They soon changed the name to Kaóttica, looking for something more original and with a more metallic appearance for the new proposal.

Since then, the "Five Guys of the West" have been playing covers of their popular bands (such as: Raimundos, Misfits, Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Slayer, Sepultura, Pantera, Korn, Slipknot, Death... Among others) always with the intention to create original music in the future. In a few months, the band became recognized in its city and region, for playing a different style from the popular rock bands already existing in the region. They have a big difference, as they were faster, heavier and more technical. Thus the band established itself in the growing Underground of region, playing in bars, pubs, motorcycle clubs, charity and public events, in heaven and hell if they wanted.

Benine is a dry drummer, with a direct feel and very individual equipment. Extremely wild snare drums, double pedals, and screeching cymbals are a killer. Luis brings a present, dirty, picked bass, with clear influences of funk, punk/hardcore and hard rock. Lima is a super virtuoso guitarist, with strong fingers, mastering several techniques. Barbosa rocks with his 7 strings, bringing elements of nu metal and groove. And "The Crow" is the cafuzo with Minas Gerais blood and youngest member in age, but with great old school knowledge, projecting everything from the melodic vocals of power metal to the guttural of death metal, coming from his influences and experiences.

It's hard to describe the boys in just a few words, but talent, humility, charisma, determination and irreverence certainly sum them up. Unique. In each rehearsal, fun and seriousness come together naturally, and the bad vibes don't discourage them. And so they continue on the road, representing the Brazilian Underground, with great covers and lots of new original material to come. They will certainly make their mark on an era, hearts and memories.
