After the split of their previous band DAWN CHAOS in 2002, Julien and Christophe Helwin started to look for new musicians. Because of this lack of musicians Julien took place behind the drum kit. Benjamin Barret joined the band as the guitar player in february 2004. WITHDRAWN is born and recorded " This is not therapy " one year later. They opened for Arkangel in september 2006 and recorded " Tear V.2.0. " before playing with Textures in november. Olivier Bousquet joined the band before christmas for the " Hysteric X-Mas tour " with Hysteria. Interview in national press Metallian Hors Série DVD in January 2007. Benjamin Barret left the band in march 2007. The band recorded a brand new song called "Gemini Distance" to show what people can wait from WITHDRAWN's future album. As 2008 begins, WITHDRAWN, with help from sponsors, started a co headlining tour with Offending in april in North of France and in other places for 11 shows : " Blasting The North Tour " and " Blasting The Hexagone Tour". A souscription was available for supporters who wanted to help the band getting a good sound production ! The first album " H + 8 " was recorded at Echoes Studio ( drums ) and Dome Studio ( guitar, bass, vocals ), mixed and mastered at the same place by David Potvin ( Lyzanxia, Phaze I, One Way Mirror ).
